Looper with feedback

I am obsessed with delays/loopers too and I can assure you that it is possible to program very clean delays with axo/kso. Here is a patch that vaguely resembles a Lexicon PCM 42. It is a tap modulated delay with some controls: Hp, Lp, phase inversion in the feedback path, tap tempo/manual and infinite loop. It is not a buffer freeze, but it can last for minutes without degrading. There is a variable waveform LFO for tempo modulation. The patch is based on a nice compact delay object from tiar and a modified drj/seq/tap_tempo. The input needs to be configured. The 21 dB gain is for my Strat. Of course the patch can be improved, but it seems like a good starting point to me.

That’s a pretty darn cool patch there mate -thanks! Since you included the digital signal boost of 21dB I routed my guitar from my pedals straight to the input of Big Genes and the noise I had been experiencing was greatly reduced. I’m now thinking that the boost on my MS20 clone which I was using to get to Eurorack levels was the culprit adding a sort of crunchy hiss to the loops.. I’ve just been jamming with your patch and the sound is nice and clean.. Thanks so much!
