Finally got around to uploading the Power MIDI board project and CAD files to Github!
Anyone savvy enough should be able to order the board with SMD parts assembled from JLC. If the less common parts are in stock, that is. Availability fluctuates, especially for the power inductor L1.
If you order the minimum volume, which is 5 PCBs and 2 of those assembled, the current price is around 21 EUR excl. shipping.
Ayone extra-savvy could use the project as a base to create a more comprehensive shield. Show us what you come up with!
For example, currently the 3.3V Zener diode I have used is out of stock, you can select any other “ZMM3V3” in LL-34 package they have in stock.
You’ll need to source the through hole parts yourself:
2.54mm header pins or just wire
DIN-5 MIDI jacks *2
DC barrel jack (the most common size; I recommend 2.1mm * 5.5mm) *1
