I don’t know if you’d call a patch or a feature but I would like to know if someone can come up with a solution to my request.
I am interested in using Gills as a randomizer/generative sequencer. Hear me out.
Basically, I want to point Gills to an audio file (a note, a sample, a loop etc.) and tweak some parameters such as pitch, start/end points (probably % length of the original sample), velocity, time (1/32, 1/64, 3/8 etc.) and maybe more parameters. Then let Gills patch/feature do its magic and come up with a random audio or loop. Then the user can chop it to their liking and use it as a sample. I am not a good Ableton user but I think Sampler or Simpler (?) is similar to what I am thinking. but perhaps with more features and more randomized way.
